01 - PROJECT OVERVIEW
This project involved creating a motion graphics promotional broadcast package for the World Baseball Classic event for March 2026. The system of broadcast elements included a logo animation, player showcase, player chart, and lower thirds that could be used universally for different countries in the event.
02 - CONCEPT
The project was focused on capturing the energy of the World Baseball Classic through a cohesive motion package. There's great excitement that comes with being a part of such a big global event, so I wanted to represent the high-intensity stakes of a WBC game through bold, fast motion to reflect that energy. While some elements took great inspiration from existing broadcast media, others were new designs I created for a more unified and modern visual identity.

03 - PROCESS
Development of assets began in research, identifying elements of the current package and where certain elements could be refined or expanded on. From there, I identified elements of a baseball broadcast I wanted to recreate. Initial ideas were explored through sketches and storyboarding, allowing me to plan out pacing, layout, and overall flow. Broadcast assets were designed and refined in Illustrator, where I rebuilt assets while maintaining the WBC theming across the system.

04 - REFLECTION
This project strengthened my ability to take a concept from its initial idea to a complete motion system while maintaining consistency across all deliverables. It helped me to better understand how individual elements work together across a large broadcast package and develop my skills in planning and designing assets before moving to animation to ensure the smoothest possible workflow.
